Youths Empowered to Succeed (YES) is a 21-day program which strives to:

help reduce the number of homeless youths surviving on the streets in Essex County
-
help increase the number of runaways and homeless youths to reunite with their families
-
help youths receive much-needed services

help youths stabilize based on their personal situations by providing

shelter
-
primary health care
-
mental health care
-
access to education
-
job training and/or job placement for those who cannot be reunited with their families

YES also operates as a drop-in center for youths, providing centralized access to a strong supportive network of comprehensive wrap-around services. The program encourages and enhances stability to include referrals, emergency housing assistance, family reunification, case management, behavioral healthcare (individual/group/families), domestic violence, financial literacy, healthcare, health and wellness activities, career placement, supportive employment (Job Retention), transportation, legal services, recreational activities, and more.
