Job Title: Maintenance Worker
A Maintenance Worker is responsible for helping ensure that the facility, grounds, equipment, and living areas are safe, clean, functional, and properly maintained.
The Maintenance Worker shall be under the direction of the Facility Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
- Painting
- General cleaning.
- Garbage removal.
- Making small repairs.
- Complete assigned work orders
- Picking up donations.
- Maintaining grounds.
- Snow removal
- Moving of furniture and equipment
- Inventory control of supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Assist with and unload deliveries.
- Assist Outside Contractors or vendors performing work at the facility.
- Be available to address urgent maintenance issues when assigned.
- Be flexible for a wide range of tasks from the routine and predictable to the unique and unexpected.
- Regular attendance and punctuality expected.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in related position.
- Clean NJ driving record a must
- Must pass background check.
Job Information: Job Type -Full Time Job Schedule Monday-Friday 9am-5pm & 2 hours on alternated weekends Salary $17.00 an hour
