Emergency Family Shelter
Immediate, emergency housing is available to families of all shapes and sizes. Isaiah House is one of the few shelters that provides private rooms to families, allowing a family in crisis to stay together.

Shelter, food, re-entry, childcare and permanent housing — run as one organization, so a family does not have to start over at every door.

Our comprehensive re-entry program is designed specifically for women who are preparing to leave incarceration and return to their communities.

Next Step provides permanent housing for adults who are homeless with a mental health diagnosis.

Community Creche is a supportive temporary housing program for mothers and their infants.

All Isaiah House programs serve HIV+ individuals, including our Infants and Tiny Tots Daycare.

Isaiah House provides a variety of community support programs to service those who continue to live at home but need assistance in other forms.

Medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders — medication, counseling and housing together. Run from our original 14th Street building, not the shelter.

Donated furniture, chosen and delivered, so a family leaving the shelter walks into a furnished home rather than an empty room.
Isaiah House is 90% publicly funded, in a climate where that funding is shrinking. Private giving is what keeps the room ready.
If you or someone you know needs shelter, food, or support, we are here.
